Misfits arrives to major national retailers and museums for Christmas 2025

Alexander, founder and creator here! When I started designing Misfits back in February 2017, I couldn’t have imagined where it would end up. From prototypes on my living room table to a product stocked in design-led shops across three continents, it’s been a surreal (and occasionally nerve-wracking!) journey.

I’m excited to share that Misfits is officially arriving in Oliver Bonas this winter. This marks our first UK national retail placement outside of specialist game stores and independent shops —proof that there’s room for something a little different in the world of tabletop games.

What’s Burchfield Penney Art Center?

Burchfield Penney Art Center is a respected museum in Buffalo, New York, dedicated to celebrating regional and contemporary art. The museum is known for its innovative exhibitions and strong ties to the creative community.

Our connection to Burchfield Penney began when a longtime customer and fan of Misfits—who happens to work in the museum’s gift shop—recommended the game to their team. From there, the museum decided to bring Misfits into their retail selection.

What’s next?

This year, we’re scaling up production to meet demand and exploring new collaborations with retailers who believe in great design. We’ve also received a 500+ unit order from a major US bookstore chain, with more updates to come soon.
